The 89er Celebration is an event that pays tribute and celebrates the Land Run that happened way back in 1889 along with the birth of Guthrie. The entire celebration offers numerous family friendly activities which include the main parade, food vendors, a carnival, marathon runs that measure 5k and 10k, and other interesting window displays.

The main emphasis of the festival focuses on the celebration of its 80 consecutive years that show its festivity through the presence of wagons, groups riding horses, vintage cars and even a marching band. You can be a part of the event either just a participant and a simple viewer or you can also be a part by registering as one of the vendors around.
