The Frank Phillips Home is one of the 32 sites and museum that is owned, staffed, and operated by the Oklahoma Historical Society. In 1973, it opened to the public after Elizabeth Irwin, the granddaughter of Frank and Jane Phillips, presented the home, together with the personal belongings of the Phillips, to the state of Oklahoma as a historical state.

Elizabeth inherited the home when Jane Phillips died. For 25 years, the house was home to Elizabeth and her family, who made sure they were able to carefully preserve its integrity and its contents. It was then believed that Elizabeth understood its importance and historical significance to the legacy of the Phillips.

The Frank Phillips Home has volunteers who strive to carry out the preservation and perpetuation of Oklahoma?s history and its people through the interpretation and dissemination of the knowledge of the Phillips family, including the people who were significant to the lives that they have lived.

Aside from the regular tours, the Museum offers a unique Director?s tour that will enable visitors to experience the house with a behind-the-scenes tour.
