The Grady County Museum occupies the former Dixie Department Store Building. It was renovated for the museum and other various vendors.

The Grady County Museum features area history encompassing all decades that focus on Grady County. It houses collections that include early historical documents dating back from the time the state of Oklahoma was formed. It also provides records of the early pioneers who have settled in the northwest corner of the Chickasaw Nation and Geronimo Hotel murals that have existed before the formation of the state.

Visitors to the Museum will also find the Rock Island Railroad artifacts and military items that are related to Borden General Hospital and the W & B Flying School from the World War II era. Other items of importance and interest in the collection include Grady County school artifacts, a barn and homestead house exhibits, a vast collection of photographs dating back to 1895 and documenting the development of the county, and many more.
