The Jacobson House, located in the northwest corner of the University of Oklahoma, follows the death of Oscar Jacobson in 1966. The House was turned into a rental property before it was given to the OU Foundation and sold to the University. It was first supposed to be demolished by the University so that more parking spaces will be made available at its convenient location. However, a group of people had a vision that it is more than just a parking space. They began working to preserve and restore the house.

Today, the house is now a gathering place and gallery for art and conversation. Aside from its galleries, it hosts special events that further enhance the art experience of its visitors.
