In 1899, the Moore-Lindsay House, one of the most charming historical homes in Oklahoma, was built by couple William and Agnes Moore. The home, which is noted for its ?Princess Anne? design, had been one of the most expensive houses during its time.
In 1973, the city of Norman, OR had purchased the Moore-Lindsay House and worked on its renovation as a historical home and museum. It is now part of the National Register of Historic Places and the museum is being managed by the Cleveland County Historical Society, a non-profit organization. The museum boasts of more than 9,000 rare items such as photographs, books, and many other kinds of artefacts. The Moore-Lindsay House may be rented for weddings and various other events.
