The Oklahoma Aquarium houses 8 exhibit galleries that feature salt and fresh water fishes and animals. The Museum also features the largest bull sharks in captivity in their one-of-a-kind walk through tunnel. Other creatures that can be viewed here are the seahorses, eels, and jellyfishes. Visitors can also feel the thrill as they watch and feed stingrays and small sharks.

The aquarium boasts of different areas that highlight specific creatures. The Biodiversity-Amazing Invertebrates serves as the location for sponges, sea stars, barnacles, and urchins that highlight the varied aquatic life while the fishes with unusual characteristics like breathing in air and seeing both above and below water can be seen in the Adaptation-Extreme Fishes. There is also an area for the Fishes of Oklahoma where visitors can find a 120-year old alligator snapping turtle and a state record blue catfish.
