The Oral Roberts Prayer Tower is a 20th Century Cross that has a stylized crown of thorns and outer skeleton of plastic PVC pipes. It offers its visitors a breath-taking view of Oral Roberts University. Visitors will also hear a recording of Richard, Oral?s son in the observation deck. The recording reveals the site?s construction philosophy.

One of its highlights is the door to the Special Prayer Room. In here, visitors will be asked to submit a prayer request each. The prayers are scattered across the carpeting and furniture by Oral hundreds at a time.

The Prayer Tower rewards those who are faithful with the vision of Journey of Faith sound-and-light extravaganza. In here, the well-heeled healer gets to share his life story with the ?not-so-chosen people? who will be grouped in 6 separate soundproof rooms. The visitors will start on the dusty childhood porch of Oral. His father, a preacher, will rant certain word in the background. The recording will proceed with children taunting Oral for his name. He collapses and ends up in the bedroom. After proclaiming his faith to God, He exclaims that he is healed.
