Frank Lloyd Wright was a famous and prolific architect who made his name in the United States during the 1950s. Every state is proud to have one of his works dotting its cityscapes. Wright?s only realized skyscraper is the Price Tower in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.

The Price Tower was built in 1952 from Wright?s design. It was commissioned by Harold C. Price to be used as his Bartlesville company. Then-University of Oklahoma Dean of Architecture Bruce Goff directed Price to Wright. And the rest was history.

Today, the building still functions as a commercial space. It has an art complex, the Price Tower Arts Center, which focuses on art, design, and architecture. The art complex features a museum, restaurant and hotel. The museum displays several modern art and design, as well as works of architect Frank Lloyd Wright. It was designated a National Historical Landmark in 2007.
