Built in 1919, the Scottish Rite Temple is a Masonic temple where state-level events are usually held. It exemplifies Classic Revival architecture, and is situated in a 10-acre property making it one of the largest Masonic centers in the world.

Called by the Oklahoma Historical Society as ?Oklahoma?s most beautiful building?, the Scottish Rite Temple alone measures 400,000 square feet. It used limestone and features 14 rooms of different themes, from English to Asian and African motifs. It is a truly grand landmark, with matching 400 stained glass windows, marble flooring, imported carpets, and expensive chandeliers for furnishing.

The Guthrie Scottish Rite Temple is a real proof of the Mason?s history and heritage, being master cathedral builders of the past. Luckily, the site can also be rented for various occasions and events.
