Originally established as the Gershon & Rebecca Fenster Museum of Jewish Art in 1966, the Sherwin Miller Museum has been renamed to its first curator, Sherwin Miller in the year 2000. It was initially located in Tulsa?s Congregation B?nai Emunah Synagogue until 200 when it was moved to its present location.

The Sherwin Miller Museum of Jewish Art is a part of the Fenster/Saditen Cultural Center. It is the only museum of the theme in the region, and it has a wide collection of Judaica. It also features various items of significance to the religion and way of life.

The Sherwin Miller Museum also has close ties with various organizations that help Nazi concentration camp survivors who live in the state. They also celebrate and pay tribute to the Oklahomans who helped fight the war against the Nazis.
