The Southern Plains Indian Museum exhibit a variety of historical arts taken and preserved from the tribal natives of the western part of Oklahoma. These displays include a lot of beadwork, metal, feather, skin sewing and even hide painting tools and items of the ancient Indian tribes. This is a museum that is rich in culture and the featured people of this particular culture would be the tribes from Comanche, Kiowa, Southern Cheyenne, and many more.

It also houses a good line of sales exhibitions that are up for promotion which gives way to the arts and crafts of the contemporary art form of the American Indians. These are made from upcoming artists and craftsmen. It was started in 1947 with the help of the Oklahoma State.
