Although the Toy & Action Figures Museum had only been established in 2005 and as part of VISION 2010, a citywide campaign in Pauls Valley, the museum had come a long way since then. Besides gaining accreditation, the museum has also won various awards like the 2006 Best New Tourist Attraction in the Redbud Awards at Oklahoma Governor?s Tourism Conference.

The first of its kind, the collection of toys and action figures had been initiated by toy designer and local artist Kevin Stark. Alongside other locals, Stark had painstakingly worked in building the museum?s collection for five years. Since its official opening, the museum had received precious contributions from more than forty countries and had welcomed more than 50,000 visitors.

Besides housing famous and rare Marvel action figures, Star Wars toys, and other toy action figures, the toy museum is also the proud host for a rare Oklahoma Cartoonist Collection, which was organized by another Oklahoma local, Michael Vance.
