The Tulsa State fair is a yearly exposition and family-oriented event in Oklahoma City. The fair usually extends in 11-day period of live entertainment, interactive exhibits, and variety of theme rides. The first Tulsa fair was first held in 1903 along Archer Street. It was recognized as state?s fair in 1935, almost a decade after it moved its location from Archer Street to present?s fair ground.

The state fair features artistic programs such as Artisan Village, Chocolate Sculpture, Art Smart Challenge, and Culinary Kitchen Demonstrations. There are also Muscogee Stage live events including Miss Tulsa State Fair, Acrobats of Hebei, Fire Dance Show, Will Rogers Square, Concharty United Methodist, and Picking and Fiddling Championship.

One of the most highlighted events in Tulsa State Fair is the Wine Garden Oasis. It showcases the wines originally made in state of Oklahoma. There are free taste offers of different wines and a commemorative wine glass as souvenir of the event. It is participated by different wineries in Oklahoma like Summerside Winery, Stone Bluff Cellars, Oak Hills Winery, Stableridge Vineyards, Whispering Meadows Vineyard and Winery, Sparks Vineyard and Winery, and Whispering Vines Vineyard.

The whole family can also enjoy theme park rides installed on state fair?s ground. There are rides for children like Sooper Jet, Castlemania, Motorcycle Jump, Wacky Worm, Star Command, Clown Around, Dixie Jump, Hod Wild, and Dragon Wagon. For both adults and kids, there are rides like Eli Ferris Wheel, Persian Camel, Tornado, Kamikaze, Viper, Commet II Roller Coaster, Iron Man, Himalaya, and more. For people who are looking for an extreme adventure, they can try Sling Shot, Sky Craper, The Maxxx, and SkyRide.
