The Banks?Vernonia State Trail is a state park and rail trail in Vernonia, Oregon. As the name suggests, it runs between the towns of Banks and Vernonia.

With the town of Banks located just 25 miles outside Portland, the Banks?Vernonia State Trail tends to be quite a well known destination among trail enthusiasts. It extends for 21 miles, north to south, and is open to all non-motorized users including horseback riders, bikers, and hikers. There?s even a special 4-foot wide horse trail that runs parallel the hiking and biking trail.

Best noted as the first example of the rails to trails project in the state of Oregon, the Banks?Vernonia State Trail is also connected to the LL ?Stub? Stewart Memorial State Park.
