The Beaverton City Library is known to be one of the facilities serving busiest in the state of Oregon. It serves regularly a popular of about 136,000 plus some coming in from the county of Washington. There are about 70,000 individuals who visit it regularly on a monthly basis with about 2.7 million items checked out every year. It can be accessed and visited all seven days of the week and it has a total collection of about 330,000 items to date.

They offer the usual print materials along with bestsellers when it comes to books, CDs, DVDs for movies, and many others including foreign language items. They also have a lot of electronic database that will give you access to Internet connections. They have come up with a total of 80 workstations that can be accessed by the public. Since they are a member of the Washington County Cooperative, you can also get to access the rest of the public libraries which serve as members too of the group. It is considered to be a cultural center of Beaverton.
