The Cape Lookout State Park is situated about one a half hours west of the city of Portland. You would see it through the scenic look of the famous Wilson River Pass. This is part of the three major capes scenic route along with the Cape Meares and the Cape Kiwanda. This is also a famous campground in Oregon but ideally used only for day use. It also offers an amazing view of the beach with easy and convenient access.

This park measures more than a total of eight miles for its trails for hiking and walking activities. It has an old forest that is still lush and continuously growing. The trail of the park follows the headland which is more than a total of two miles. It is made up of two walking trails namely the Jackson Creek trail and the nature trail. It would allow you to check out its native trees and the rest of the types of plants present there. You can try paragliding as one of its exciting adventures.
