Cape Perpetua is a beautiful spot in the central coast area of the state of Oregon. It features a large forested headland overlooking the Pacific Ocean. It is a part of the Siuslaw National Forest, under the management of the United States Forest Service.

In order to better promote Cape Perpetua, the Cape Perpetua Scenic Area was established in the 1960s. It included a 2700-acre of nature, with a visitor center. Camping, hiking, whale watching, picnicking, and sightseeing are the top recreational activities offered by the site.

Today, you can still visit the gorgeous Cape Perpetua and bask in its beauty. It is open year round, although, if you want to see the whales, you may want to schedule your trip around mid March.
