Located near the mouth of the Columbia River in Astoria, Oregon, the Columbia River Maritime Museum is basically a place that documents, displays, and exhibits the area?s rich maritime history. It was founded in 1962 and became the first museum in Oregon to meet the standards of the national accreditation requirements of the American Association of Museums.
