Built in 1916, the Vista House at Crown Point State Park can be found along the Historic Columbia River Highway. It?s near the Columbia River Gorge and when you access its topmost section, the Vista House boasts of a spectacular view of Portland and all the way to Vancouver in Washington.

Vista House Crown Point is now part of the National Register of Historic Place. A non-profit organization, Friends of Vista House, had painstakingly restored its original appearance, refurbishing tirelessly with brass fixtures and marble interior before opening the house to public viewing in 2005. In its early years, locals had referred to the place as the ?$100,000 Outhouse?. Ultimately, the Crown Point Vista House is certainly one of the most glittering jewels you?ll see outdoors.
