Named for its unique location where five streams (Alder, Buck, Crab, Cougar, and Cherry Creeks) make up the stream, the Five Rivers Covered Bridge is a beautiful covered bridge in Lincoln County, Oregon. Its construction date is not too clear as some records state that it was built in 1919 while others say that it was in 1927 (which other believes is a renovation date only).

In the 1970s, the Five Rivers Covered Bridge, also known as the Fisher School Covered Bridge, was threatened to be demolished. Luckily, the county listened to the Fisher community residents who opposed the plan and allocated $2000 to renovate the structure.

The Five Rivers Covered Bridge used to be surrounded by other covered bridges. However, it is the only one that remains in the area today.
