The Governor Patterson Memorial State Recreation Site is a state park and recreation area in Waldport, Oregon. It is not noted whether the park was created for Isaac Lee Patterson, the 18th Governor of Oregon, or Paul L. Patterson, the 26th Governor of Oregon.

A day-use park, the Governor Patterson Memorial State Recreation Site is most commonly enjoyed through picnicking. However, folks also troop to the site for its beautiful sunsets and excellent photo opportunities thanks to its scenic setting. A lot of people also visit the site to watch whales, as the park provides miles’ worth of sandy beach. It is also located just a short hike away from the Alsea Bay where folks can go windsurfing, seal watching, and crabbing.
