The Harris Beach State Recreation Area is a state park and recreation area in Brookings, Oregon. It is best noted for being located on the largest island off the coast of Oregon.
Named after George Harris, a Scottish pioneer who settled in the area during the late 1880s, the Harris Beach State Recreation Area is also a natural and protected area. It contains the Bird Island, also known as the Goat Island, which is a National Wildlife Sanctuary and is a breeding site for rare birds.
