The Historic Deepwood Estate is the only residential garden that is open to the public as today. Designed by Elizabeth Lord and Edith Schryver, it marks a history for Northwest Garden Design.

The 1894 Queen Anne Victorian Style Home which sits on 4 acres on well manicured and landscaped gardens is now operated by the non-profit organization, Friends of Deepwood. It is recognized by Sunset Magazine as one of the Best Historic Homes in 2002. Boasting of Povey Brothers stained glass and eastern golden oak tree, the site can be found in Salem.

In 1973, it was also included in the National Register of Historic Homes. Today, it is available for private events like weddings, receptions, reunions, and other celebrations.
