Operated under the care of the Hood River Valley Parks and Recreation department is the Hood River Aquatic Center. The site is basically a water park that offers learning and fun for its patrons all-year long.

The site offers various activities and events. You can do water aerobics, take swimming lessons, or have a relaxing dip during the therapy pool sessions. People can also participate during the swim team sessions, which are basically when the Hood River Valley Swim Team trains. Kayaking is also another spectacle that is offered to the general public.
