The Hoover-Minthorn Museum House was created way back in 1881. It was operated and under the ownership of the National Society of the Colonial Dames of America. The entire house reflects the famous Quaker entrepreneur Jesse Edwards. The furniture sets you will see inside the house turned museum are the very pieces that were used by him as a boy.

The rest of the furnishings featured inside were collected from various homes in the countryside of Newberg. The overall design of the home is what makes it truly unique in its own right since you can see a great sense of eclecticism. It symbolizes a turn of fashion right in the middle of a revolution of change as what its critics and art experts say about it.
