Built in 1880 by John Tigard, the son of the Wilson Tigard, the founder of the city of Tigard, Oregon, the John Tigard House is a historic building that is now open as a historic house museum.

The John Tigard House is in the Queen Anne style of architecture. It is quite small with just a story and a half, but no one can deny that it is very classically elegant and beautiful with its Carpenter Gothic elements. It has three bedrooms and an attic, now used by the museum as a storage space.

The John Tigard House is now under the care of the Tigard Historical Association. It was listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 1979 and now functions as a museum managed by the organization.
