The Lane County Historical Museum has numerous items on display that has great relations with the history of the county of Lane along with the rest of its pioneers. It first opened its doors to the public way back in 1951. It may have started as a small and quaint museum but it had its expansions by 1960 becoming a high ceilinged hall filled with unique exhibits.

It features resources to those who are researching for the history of the entire county and serves as an educational spot for student tours to explore especially with how the very first sets of people in the place lived. It also has a museum store that offers a wide range of items from artwork prints, quilts, and many more.
