The Maples Rest Area is a state park and rest area in Gates, Oregon. It is best noted for being the only rest area located between the cities of Salem and Sisters, Oregon.

The most striking thing about the Maples Rest Area is that it is very well maintained. Being a fairly commonly used public park, the site offers an excellent rest stop with large grass lawns and designated pet exercise areas. Its parking space is also ample and suitable for just about every type of vehicle, even RVs.

Aside from these, the Maples Rest Area also offers nature trails, which are ideal for mild hiking and walking. Wildlife viewing as well as picnicking and nature study are also commonly enjoyed at the site as well.
