The Maud Williamson State Recreation Site is a state park and recreation area in Salem, Oregon. It is also quite historic, established from a donation by local residents.

Taking its name from the person who donated the land of the park to the state, the Maud Williamson State Recreation Site was originally a property owned by Maud Williamson, a local teacher in Wheatland. It served as a farm owned by the Williamson family for a long time and was willed to the people of Oregon by the owner upon her death in 1933.

Visitors of the Maud Williamson State Recreation Site can enjoy picnicking, bird watching, ad nature study at the site. A historic Queen Anne-style house can also be found nearby, but it?s not open to the public.
