Minthorn Hall is the oldest building in the George Fox University?s Newburg, Oregon campus. It was built in 1887 as a Christian institution for Quakers, and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997.

The Minthorn Hall is believed to have been the residence of Herbert Hoover, one of the school?s former presidents, for a time before he took up the position. It served as a dormitory and gym and was then converted as an academic building later on. It got its name from Laura and Henry John Minthorn, two of the early supporters of the school.

The Minthorn Hall is a three-story building, including its basement. It is made in the Colonial Revival style architecture out of bricks and stucco with wood frames.
