The Mongold Day-Use Area is a state park and recreation area in Detroit, Oregon. It is located 1.5 miles west of the Detroit Lake State Park.

The Mongold Day-Use Area is also noted for being the only public boat launch facility on the Detroit Lake that also has a swimming area and other facilities for recreation that are open to the public. It is equipped with picnic areas, restrooms, and even a grassy beach, making it a great outdoor destination.

Being a day-use area, the 58 parking slots on Mongold are only available during the daytime. There are fully accessible spaces near the swimming area and on the top of the parking lot. There are also spaces that are ideal for trailers and RVs as well.
