The Mosby Creek Bridge is the oldest covered bride in the county of Lane, Oregon. It is one of the seventeen covered bridges in the area, but is most notable for being built in 1920, earlier than the other existing structures today.
Located in the city of Cottage Grove, the Mosby Creek Bridge is named after the American pioneer David Mosby because of the fact that it stands in the area where Mosby?s property once stood. It features the Howe truss design with semi-circular portal arches.

The Mosby Creek Bridge has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979. It is still open to traffic, thanks to the regular upkeep done by the county officials. It is also seen by folks who will take the Oregon, Pacific and Eastern Railway steam excursion train, ?The Goose?.
