Built in 1930, the Mosby Creek Covered Bridge is probably one of the most frequently damaged of all the covered bridges in the state. It has been damaged in 1964 during the massive ?Christmas Flood? that affected the
Mosby River and cracked the lower chords of the structure. Four years later, it was victimized by a snowstorm that put over three feet of snow on the roof which caved in due to the weight.

Luckily, it was rebuilt and had a 20 ton limit. In the 1980s, it was bypassed by a concrete span nearby. It was then fumigated in 1987 and additional measures for safety were put on the structure.

After surviving all of these, the Mosby Creek Covered Bridge still stands today.
