The Oregon Shakespeare Festival was started in 1935 and is considered to be a Tony Award winner. It is considered to be one of the oldest and biggest nonprofit theaters in the entire country. Every year, the festival which is also known as OSF has a presentation that consist of 11 play productions along with other additional activities.

It also tackles a comprehensive educational program for theater. The festival has a budget that reaches about $26 million to be able to present a total of about 780 performances which are attended by about 400,000 people.
