The Samuel H. Boardman State Scenic Corridor is a state park and recreation area in Brookings, Oregon. It is a forested linear park that runs for 12 miles and offers stunning scenery.
Created in 1949, the Samuel H. Boardman State Scenic Corridor is named after Samuel H. Boardman, the first superintendent of the Oregon Parks. It stretches from the city of Brookings northwards to the Pistol River State Scenic Viewpoint. Along the way, visitors of the park can find more than 14 creeks, as well as the Oregon Coast Trail, which is filled with 300-year old sitka spruce trees as well as many natural arches and bridges.
Visitors of the Samuel H. Boardman State Scenic Corridor can enjoy picnicking, wildlife viewing, boating, fishing, nature study, and walking.
