Also known as the Castle on the Hill, the Shelton-McMurphey-Johnson House is a historic house in Eugene, Oregon. It is named after the families that have lived in it through the years, right after it was completed in 1888.

The Shelton-McMurphey-Johnson House was built for Dr. T.W. Shelton. It was designed in the Queen Anne style by Walter D. Pugh, a Salem, Oregon architect. When Dr. Robert McMurphey acquired the site in 1910, it was modified and enlarged. It was also remodeled by the Johnsons in the early 1950s.

Currently owned by the Lane County after being donated by the Johnsons, the Shelton-McMurphey-Johnson House is now a public venue, open for tours. It can also be rented for private events.
