The Silver Falls State Park is the largest state park in Oregon. It measures a total of more than 9,000 acres worth of land area, with more than 24 miles of walking trails, 4 miles of bike paths, and 14 miles of horse trails.

Silver Falls State Park got its name from the ten waterfalls that run along the Silver Creek?s banks. Four of these have an amphitheater-like design, allowing visitors to pass behind the flow of the falls through the trails. The tallest one is the Remote Double Falls, measuring of 178 feet in height. The most visited one, however, is the South Falls, with a 177 feet cascade.
