The Spout Springs Ski Area is located inside the Umatilla National Forest, right on the well known Blue Mountains. It was opened in 1956, when its first ski season opened. It initially saw up to 1500 visitors per weekend.
Located just 22 miles east of the city of Weston, Oregon, the Spout Springs Ski Area is one of the three well known ski spots in the eastern part of the state. It offers a wide variety of skiing for beginners and experts alike. Snowboarders are also welcome.
To complete the experience, there?s also a day lodge, restaurant, and bar inside the Spout Springs Ski Area. Visitors can also sign up for the lessons the management offers. Equipment is also available for rent on the rental shop, just in case you can?t bring your own gear.
