The Umpqua Lighthouse State Park is a state park, recreation area, and historic site in Reedsport, Oregon. It is located less than a mile away from the famous Salmon Harbor of the Winchester Bay.
Featuring the Lake Marie and the historic (as per its National Register of Historic Places listing) Umpqua Lighthouse, the Umpqua Lighthouse State Park traces its roots back to the mid 1800s when the first Umpqua Lighthouse was built. The current one was completed in 1894 after the first one collapsed.
The Umpqua Lighthouse State Park now offers a good amount of recreational opportunities, including camping, boating, picnicking, and fishing. The lighthouse is available for tours, as well as its adjacent museum from the months of May through September.
