The Valley of the Rogue State Recreation Area takes its name after its location, the Rogue Valley. It also sits at the banks of the Rogue River, offering three miles of the said body of water?s shoreline. It is one of the many parks in the state where folks can enjoy a good stay for a couple of days through its campgrounds.

The Valley of the Rogue State Recreation Area is touted as an excellent place to stay while visiting area attractions, which include the Crater Lake National Park and the Oregon Caves National Monument. It is also a perfect place to stay at while attending the Ashland Shakespeare Festival and the Britt Music Festival.
