Originally called the Cape Foulweather Lighthouse, the Yaquina Heald Light is a lighthouse situated in the mouth of the Yaquina River in Oregon. It is the tallest lighthouse in the state, measuring 93 feet in height.

The Yaquina Head Light was first lit in 1873. It was automated in 1966. It still uses its 1868 Fresnel Lens, which are the very same lights that it has always used since its completion. It has an adjacent once story keepers? house located on the eastern side of the site.

The Yaquina Head Light also appeared in a number of movies, like The Ring in 2002 and Hysterical in 1983. Even though the site is still an active Coast Guard lighthouse, tours are still offered daily, every 1 to 4 pm.
