The American Helicopter Museum and Education Center is the premier aviation museum in the nation that is exclusively devoted to helicopters. It helps achieve the collection, restoration, and exhibition of historic aircraft. It also chronicles the origin and development of rotary wing aircraft.

Thousands of visitors visit the Museum every year. This includes school groups, families, and senior citizens from all over United States and other countries.

The Museum?s collection today showcases more than 35 civilian and military helicopter, autogiros and convertaplanes. These exhibits cover the rotary wing aircraft history starting from the earliest helicopters to the latest, the V-22 Osprey.

The American helicopter Museum also houses is own library which provides a collection of documents, artifacts, films, memoirs, and research that provide public information about rotary wing aircraft.
