Also known as the Nicholas Biddle Estate, Andalusia is one of the historic mansions in the state of Pennsylvania. It was originally owned by the Craig family, whose daughter married Nicholas Biddle, who was a former head of the Second Bank of the United States.

Built and named by John Craig in 1794, it has seen a major renovation in the early 1800s by Benjamin Latrobe who gave it a stunning Greek Revival style fa?ade. It was called by the National Register of Historic Places as one of the oldest structures that has a pristine representation of the Greek Revival architecture.

The Andalusia was owned by the Biddle family for generations. Today, however, it is operated as a house museum under the Andalusia Foundation.
