Bobby and Barbara Blanche are proud owners and developers of the Rice?s Flea Market and strict followers of the traditions set by its original owner and founder Mr. A. L. Rice. Mr. Rice moved to New Hope, Pennsylvania in the 1860s and started auctioning his produce together with other products from his neighbors. His work and unique selling idea became popular and soon enough, more farmers came to him to feature and sell their products. In the 1950?s, the livestock auctions grew into a market and attracted to more than 500 sellers from the northeast Pennsylvania area.

Today, Rice?s Flea Market, also known as Rice?s Sale and Country Flea Market is a 30-acre open-air bazaar that is open on Tuesdays and Saturdays and features more than 500 booths filled with antiques, livestock and farm produce, home accessories, baked goods, flowers, clothes and a whole lot more ? all for the best bargain price.
