Resting on Pennsylvania?s famous Allegheny Mountains, the Del Grosso?s Amusement Park had been purchased in 1946 and was originally known as Bland?s Park.

The park?s centrepiece would no doubt be the antique Carousel, which had been built in the 1920?s by the famous New York artisans from the Herschell Spillman Carouselle Co. The carousel is one of the less than seventy existing carousels in the country.

Besides the carousel, the park also offers over thirty rides for both kids and adults to enjoy and even a championship miniature golf course. It?s also home to the Tipton Waterworks and Rapids as well as the Altoona-Tipton Speedway, a racetrack for golf-karts. Visitors may also enjoy Fred DelGrosso?s famous potato salad and spaghetti at the site.
