Mount Hope Farm is a very old site that can be found in Bristol, Rhode Island. The farm can trace its roots back to the 1680s, when the property was purchased by Nathaniel Byfield, the first judge of the Vice Admiralty Court, and a member if the Massachusetts General Court.

The farm house was built by Governor William Bradford, which is why some also call it the Gov. William Bradford House. The Mount Hope Farm measures a total of 200 acres worth of land, most of which is filled with a series of historic buildings. The site got its name from its location. It is situated in a spot overlooking Mount Hope and the Narragansett Bays. It is also near the Mount Hope Bridge.

Today, the Mount Hope Farm operates as a top attraction in the area. There?s a country inn on the site, and it can also be rented for events, like weddings and tours.
