Known as the only remnant of the Narragansett Pier Casino, the Narragansett Towers are considered a historic structure. They are the entrance to the famous Casino that was built in the late 1800?s. The Narragansett Pier Casino rose to popularity and became rivals with Newport Casino but was later burned during the great fire that occurred in September 12, 1900. The Casino carried a Victorian Style Architecture, and was designed by White, Mead, and McKim. It offered a variety of entertainment to the public including sports like tennis, billiards, shooting, bowling, cards, and even boating. It also has a lot of restaurants, stores, a ballroom, and a fancy beach.

The Narragansett Towers are the only structural remains of the once great Casino, and are now used for functions like weddings, dances, and other social events.
