The Roger Williams Park Zoo in Providence houses hundreds of rare and interesting animals from all over the world such as polar bears, moon bears, snow leopards, elephants, and giraffes. The Zoo features more than 957 animals with 156 different species displayed.

The sculpted paths of the zoo lead its visitors on a safari experience where other endangered animals can be seen. It also houses an open-air aviary, the Museum of Natural History, and the Betsy Williams Cottage which displays an authentic colonial American Flag. The Carousel Village provides an enjoyable Carousel ride as well as pony rides. The site also features rolling lawns that contribute to a wonderful environment for the paddle boats floating among swans on the lily-pad pond.
