Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979, the BB Kirkland and Distributing Company is a three story warehouse in Columbia, South Carolina noted for its historic significance. It was built in 1916 by Benjamin Brown Kirkland, who was a local prominent businessman.

Kirkland established the Kirkland Distributing Company in 1900. He built the warehouse years after on a site that the farmers formerly used as campground while in the city to sell products. The site was popular for its three natural springs, one of which still flows on the building?s basement.

The BB Kirkland Seed and Distributing Company building is currently used for various purposes, mostly to house retail businesses. Another top attraction in Columbia, the City Art Gallery, can be found here.
