The Conway Downtown Historic District is a historically significant area in the city of Conway, South Carolina. It is composed of 5.5 acres of land in the downtown district of the city, which features the commercial and governmental core of the locale.

The Conway Downtown Historic District is important to define as it represents the past century or so for the city. It shows structures that represent the development of the city?s development, from 1824 to 1950, although most buildings were from the early 1900s to about 1940.

Featuring forty commercial buildings, one public building, and another structure in the downtown area, the Conway Downtown Historic District is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is a designated US Historic District.
